Students Selected to Appear on Wheel of Fortune
MU students Jaclyn Heider and Tony Zaldivar will appear on Wheel of Fortune during the show's Big 12 College Week. The show will air the week of May 15.
Heider and Zaldivar were chosen after applying online and being selected at random to participate in contestant auditions. At the auditions, the students played a shortened version of Wheel of Fortune and took a written test.
Show executives looked for students who were good game players, demonstrated enthusiasm, and were good representatives of their universities. Eligible players were required to be full-time students. For more information, visit the Wheel of Fortune Web site.
