Students Benefit From Tiger Romp and Ball
Alumni from both sides of Missouri
will raise funds for student scholarships on April 22. The Tiger
Romp in St. Louis and the Black
and Gold Tiger Ball in Kansas City are coordinated by the
local alumni chapters and the Tiger Clubs. Last year Kansas City
raised $44,000 and St. Louis raised $22,000 at the events.

2005 Theme and Grand Marshals
MU started its tradition of Homecoming
in 1911. Although this tradition has spread throughout the world,
the University still boasts the largest student-run Homecoming

Break Two School Records
Two MU athletes broke
the university’s two oldest track and field records at the
Stanford Invitational held last month. Senior Ryan Hampton broke
the 1972 record in the 5,000 meter run, and junior Valerie Lauver
broke the 1983 record in the 10,000 meter run.

according to APR guidelines. Athletic Director Mike Alden addresses
