Vocal virtuosity
Judges on the popular television show America’s Got Talent are looking for ability, and Mizzou-trained tenor Neal Boyd of St. Louis offers them plenty. The show premieres June 17 on NBC and will feature Boyd, BA ’01, singing Pavarotti-style. (Boyd is the big guy with all the personality and the sassy hat.) Read more and hear him sing

An MU football television commercial for the 2007 season featuring former tailback Tony Temple and Head Coach Gary Pinkel was named best in the nation by the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators Board of Directors. View winning spot. See 2008 commercials.

Wrestler qualifies for 2008 Olympics
Ben Askren is only the second Missouri graduate to qualify for the Olympics in the sport of wrestling and the first since 1991 All-American Sam Henson captured a silver medal at the 2000 Olympics. Read more

Leadership for a century
Deans Founded by Walter Williams in 1908, the Missouri School of Journalism has been managed by eight deans over the course of a century.
