‘Deercam’ Offers Insight Into Deer Life

Their research, recently featured on NBC’s Today Show and in The New York Times, could lead to more effective strategies for dealing with the spread of animal disease and deer-vehicle collisions. in Prostate Cancer Detection

A $3 million grant from the National Institutes of Health is helping fund groundbreaking nanotechnology at MU. Researchers hope tiny particles can lead to cures for various cancers, including prostate cancer. Read more

The MU Alumni Association’s Alumni Scholars Program serves to cultivate students as alumni volunteers of the future by recognizing their excellent scholarship and leadership potential. Last year 180 incoming and current students received more than $200,000. Get more information.

He might have record-breaking moves on the football field, but quarterback Brad Smith is being honored for his academic agility as part of the 2005 National Scholar-Athlete Class, a distinction that comes with an $18,000 post-graduate scholarship. Read more

Softball Team Announces 2006 Schedule

Arriving Soon

One of the most popular benefits of association membership is the free Mizzou wall calendar, which should arrive at homes by the middle of December. Members also can purchase additional calendars for $5 each. Alumni who are not association members can go online and purchase a calendar for $10. Those who join the association before Dec. 31 will receive a free calendar.
