He, along with the Missouri Department of Conservation, are outfitting
deer with miniature wireless cameras. Their research, recently
featured on NBC’s Today Show and in The New
York Times, could lead to more effective strategies for dealing
with the spread of animal disease and deer-vehicle collisions.

Arriving Soon
One of the most popular benefits of association membership is
the free Mizzou wall calendar, which should arrive at homes by
the middle of December. Members also can purchase
additional calendars for $5 each. Alumni who are not association
members can go online and purchase
a calendar for $10. Those who join the association before
Dec. 31 will receive a free calendar.
