MU announced Oct. 19 that its College of Business is now offically named the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business. Read more

New Student Center Construction Begins
More than simply the "living room" of campus, the new student center will provide opportunities that integrate out-of-classroom learning, leadership development and community involvement. There also will be a place of honor for MU alumnus Mort Walker and his creation, Beetle Bailey.

MU researchers invented a surgical device that has been approved by the FDA and repairs the formerly "irrepairable" meniscus in injured knees. Read more

FFA Student Becomes National Leader
Mizzou student Zach Kinne first donned a signature FFA (formerly Future Farmers of America) blue corduroy jacket in high school. On Oct. 27 in Indianapolis, he was chosen as the group’s national president. Read more

Engineers Treat Cancer and HIV
MU researchers are testing a new and innovative micro drug delivery system that combats tumors, ulcers, cancer and HIV. The tiny, but powerful device, was developed using nanotechnology, an area in which MU specializes. Read more

Pearly Whites Without the Pain
Dental phobias could soon lose much of their bite if an MU engineering team succeeds in its efforts to develop a low-temperature plasma brush that could replace conventional dentist drills. The Washington Post and Fox News covered this story. Read more

Help Beat KU in New Rivalry

The Mizzou Alumni Association Student Board and the KU Student Alumni Association are challenging fans to bring non-perishable food items to the MU-KU game Nov. 24. Look for the Harvester’s collection bins at entrance gates and at the association's tailgate.

The game that has been circled on calendars in both the states of Missouri and Kansas has finally arrived, and what a showdown it will be, as the 3rd-ranked Missouri Tigers (10-1 overall, 6-1 in Big 12 play) will face the 2nd-ranked Kansas Jayhawks (11-0, 7-0) Saturday night at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
