International Leadership Award

The National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges has recognized MU Chancellor Brady Deaton with the Michael P. Malone International Leadership Award for furthering international education in public higher education. Read more

Genetic Culprits of Arthritis

Until recently, doctors have only been able to treat and offer tips to avoid arthritis, a disease that affects one in three Americans. Now MU researchers have identified telltale, genetic signs that indicate the early onset of arthritis. Read more

Jukebox Takes Country Music to New York City
Mizzou doctoral student and playwright Andréa J. Onstad turned her obsession with vintage country music into a play that will make its New York debut Sept. 16. Jukebox is the featured production for the sixth annual Mizzou on Broadway, the only collegiate literary-theatre showcase in New York. Read more

KBIA earned a national 2006 Edward R. Murrow Award in the small-radio market news documentary category from the Radio-Television News Directors Association. Read more
